The Bunker joins PITCOM (The Parliamentary Information Technology Committee)

Initiated in 1981, PITCOM was set up to provide a bridge between Parliament and the ICT industry, helping to address public policy issues generated by ICT and its application across the UK economy. PITCOM provides a forum for MPs, Peers, senior civil servants, academics and ICT professionals to exchange information and opinion. Highly respected by both the public and private sectors alike, PITCOM members work closely with Government to influence policy and improve industry best practice.

The Bunker, specialists in ensuring business continuity for the widest range of enterprises are keen to use their voice to help represent the views of the ICT industry, specifically data centres and the information security environment.

Established in the 1990s by recognised computer security experts Adam and Ben Laurie – The Bunker’s technical team have been born from the highest pedigree of technology professionals, something other PITCOM members, MPs and senior civil servants will be encouraged to draw upon.
