Kent Police use The Bunker as Ultra Secure training facility

The Bunker Secure Hosting Ltd, providers of Ultra* Secure Data Centres and Managed Services today announces it has been selected by Kent Police as an approved training facility by the Kent Police Dog Unit.

After multiple visits and rigorous inspection Kent Police were satisfied that The Bunker’s layout and physical security infrastructure was ideal for using as a training ground for the Kent Police Dog Unit.

Sergeant Anthony Dyer, training manager at Kent Police’s Dog Unit said: ‘The Kent Police Dog Unit train at a large variety of premises, venues and open land within Kent and the bordering counties. This is to ensure our Police dogs have exposure to all types of surroundings, assisting in ensuring excellent environmental awareness. Kent Police has in excess of 50 dogs covering various disciplines. This includes general-purpose police dogs, drugs detection, weapon detection and explosive detection. The Bunker venue allows us to work in a secure facility, which is key at the early stages of dog training.’
