Marketing Administrator
Purpose of the role
The overall purpose of this role is to support the Marketing Manager in the day to day running of the marketing department. Working closely with the marketing team, the sales team and by managing external resources, your primary objective is to raise awareness of the brand and generate sales leads.

Key responsibilities
- Delivering outbound lead generation and awareness campaigns
- First line contact for the Public Relations agency and drafting collateral as appropriate
- Assisting Marketing Manager with other aspects of marketing as required
- General marketing administrative duties
Specific Responsibilities
- Organise the creative and fulfilment of campaigns, appointing and managing external suppliers as required
- Day to day work with the PR agency
- Track The Bunker press coverage and keep the press books updated
- Maintain PR schedule
- Produce press releases, case studies and other collateral
- When required distribute press releases rather than using PR agency’s channels
- Contribute to the planning of direct marketing activities, identifying opportunities, target markets, and appropriate messages to use
- Assist with the creation of weekly and monthly reports
- Keep abreast of current security and data centre trends
Additional responsibilities
- In conjunction with the marketing manager implement agreed changes to our website
- Use our CRM as directed
- Answering of telephone calls
- First point of contact for incoming marketing enquiries
- Providing administrative support to marketing team including minute taking, booking meetings, booking site visits and meeting rooms etc
- Assisting with keeping front of house tidy and professional looking
- Attending meetings, sometimes offsite
- Attend monthly meeting at our Newbury office
Skills requirements
- A good command of the English language and the ability to write concise, interesting pieces
- Experience or qualification in marketing or similar
- Web development skills (Wordpress knowledge preferable but training will be given)
- Able to stay focussed and manage many different tasks simultaneously
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Knowledge of the web and online marketing
- Work well with people
- Ambitious and prepared to work hard with a will to succeed
