The Bunker owns and manages carrier neutral Ultra* secure Data Centres. Our facilities are military-grade establishments used by the MOD and the US air force as command and control centres during the cold war.
Over the past 5 years, The Bunker have invested heavily in these facilities to modernise the infrastructure bringing them up to the very high specification needed to support the demanding requirements of today’s IT infrastructure.
Facilities are outside the high risk London zones . In addition to the multiple onsite ISPs, carriers and telcos, the sites are connected to each other and the Internet by our own MPLS enabled, fully resilient, redundant, multi-homed gigabit network.
Our sites have technical and security staff on site to manage the varying needs of our growing list of clients including some of the most security conscious organisations in the world.
Our clients are both large and small and include financial services giants such as Scottish Widows, IT companies such as Nominet, Capita and Active Office and web trading businesses such as Ace Fancydress and Asperity. Many government bodies also keep their critical infrastructure within our facilities using varying levels of security and support services.

Larger suites & Cages
- With The Bunker’s unique design and layout we are able to offer customers their own bespoke secure suites. This option is perfect for companies looking to secure an initial number of dedicated racks but plan for expansion over subsequent months – by reserving the surrounding square footage, as your requirements grow your systems can remain together within your own dedicated secure area.

- The Bunker are able to provide large bespoke areas with their own security services and entrances; a Data Centre within a Data Centre

Dedicated space
- Also known as Colocation Plus – bridges the gap between our standard colocation service and our fully managed solutions. In other words clients get complete flexibility to add whatever services they need to the basic colocation service.
- The Bunker are able meet most power requirements. From supplying a half rack with 1 kva of power to supplying a full 42U rack with 8kva or more of fully redundant UPS backed power.
- The Bunker has data centres in geographically separate locations. This enables The Bunker to offer solutions such as infrastructure mirroring or a warm standby environment, both available should your primary environment become unavailable for any reason. The Bunkers data centres are linked to one another and to the Internet via fully redundant diverse circuits.
- The Bunker provides a full range of technical support to its clients ranging from 24/7/365 onsite Remote Hands to Professional Services and Network and Security services. These levels provide a client the ability to remotely diagnose and fix a problem (Remote Hands) or contract Bunker staff to consult with the client to diagnose and fix more complex problems including full system builds (Specialist Technical).
