The Bunker’s network is designed with performance and scalability in mind. We employ Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) dynamic routing protocol and follow Multi-Vendor strategy, running our networks on Cisco, Juniper and Foundry switch and router technology.

The Bunker employs Quality of Service (QoS) to ensure continuity of service and to guarantee predetermined traffic priority; for example VOIP over HTTP or Web traffic.

The Bunker core network has no SPF. For those who need Ultra resilience directly to their rack, The Bunker will provide dual network feeds directly to the customer rack.

A team of experienced staff engineers who operate 24/7/365 delivers the Bunker’s Network Services. This team are responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining both the Bunker’s Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure.
Drawing on this experience, and working closely with our network partners,The Bunker also design and build LANs and WANs for clients. Many existing clients, to securely link their systems or suites within The Bunker with their office network or to remotely manage their equipment, currently use our SLA backed private networks solutions.
The Bunker operate on a Carrier Neutral basis, which means that you are not tied to any single provider for your connectivity. In addition to the growing number of on site tier 1 providers, The Bunker has also secured a dual redundant link to Telehouse Docklands, allowing connectivity to be purchased directly from over 150 ISPs at specially reduced prices.
The Bunker would be happy to negotiate directly on your behalf with your choice of supplier. Available providers include:
