The Bunker Teams up with NTL to deliver Neutral Colocation in M4 Corridor
20th March 2007
The Bunker Ultra* secure data centre and managed hosting provider, today announces a strategic partnership agreement with the UK's leading provider of IP solutions, NTL, thereby adding to its existing ongoing relationship with Fibernet.
Through the strategic partnership with NTL, The Bunker can now offer its clients high capacity fully redundant links from its secure Newbury data centre back to a number of key data centres in London, allowing clients to select specific network providers or link into their IP networks with minimal effort or cost. NTL's approach allows flexibility both in terms of the services taken and the scale of the infrastructure, so providing a very cost-effective solution for companies of any size.
Although the collaboration between The Bunker and NTL only began quite recently, the partnership has already secured new clients, who are using a wide range of services. One customer to take advantage of the new Partnership has been Capita Business Services, the leading supplier of information systems. Through the secure colocation, networking and managed services Capita Business Services are receiving, their customers can rest assured that their data is ultra secure and being managed professionally.
Simon Neal, Director of Data Centre Services, commented: It was clear from the start of this relationship that there was a strong demand for neutral data centre space within the M4 corridor with low-cost, redundant high capacity secure network links back to existing data centres in London. We're therefore delighted that we are able to offer our clients these strategic services through such partnerships. The success we've already seen from this partnership clearly illustrates that these services are what our clients are looking for and that NTL has the capability to deliver them."
