Adam Laurie
Director Adam Laurie has led security initiatives in the computing industry since the 1980s and more recently was involved in the development of Apache-SSL. Adam plays an active industry role in identifying and solving security threats and problems across a wide variety of platforms and devices – and his ground-breaking research has been published by major media ranging from The Times to the BBC and The New Scientist on issues as far-reaching as Bluetooth, Infrared, Magnetic Stripe and various other network security flaws and resolutions.
Adam and his brother Ben – The Bunker’s Director of Security - contribute regularly to the security industry’s key forums, groups and conferences. Both are key members of FIRST (http://www.first.org/), the recognised global leader in security incident response; as well as contributors to Black Hat Europe (http://www.blackhat.com/), a leading industry think tank that brings together the corporate, security and IT communities to provide continuous visibility of the newest vulnerabilities, defence mechanisms and security trends. Other Bunker forum involvement includes the Jericho Forum (https://www.opengroup.org/jericho/index.tpl), an international circle of IT customer and vendor organisations dedicated to the development of open security standards to enhance the flow of information across the internet.
