Client B – Secure dedicated front end with segregated back end
Requirement:
Client B required a secure platform in which clients could share some infrastructure but also maintain dedicated production platforms with a tri-party contractual relationship directly with both the software vendor and the hosting and technology partner.
Design:
The solution was delivered with a shared secure web proxy front end, incorporating intrusion detection, monitoring and load balancing. Behind this, individual clients have dedicated “production bubbles” which are client specific and can be independently audited on a client by client basis to numerous industry standards.
Benefits:
In this situation the client required a tri-party agreement such they have a direct contractual relationship with the software provider and The Bunker. The architecture at the front is dedicated to the SAAS but shared by the group of clients buying the service. The production engine at the backend runs a dedicated client architecture and is branded for each client. This solution gives the transparency and audit trail that the clients requires, but also brings cost savings in the front end architecture. The solution scales very quickly, simply and cost effectively.
