Specialist Technical

The Bunker provides a Specialist Technical support package for customers who require additional support of a more in-depth nature to resolve day-to-day system or network issues as they arise.

Specialist Technical staff are senior System and Network specialists.  These staff need to be pre-booked to ensure availability and are able to consult and provide complex technical expertise on both Systems and Networks issues to complete tasks from problem diagnostics to full System and Networks builds.

Bunker Specialist Technical packages are available as pre-paid monthly bundles of time and provide a cost-effective, flexible way of securing a dedicated network or system administrator resource.  

Specialist Technical support packages can be purchased in the following chunks of time:

  • 5 hours
  • 10 hours
  • 20 hours

Up to 50% of Specialist Technical time may be used outside of normal business hours (Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00). 

Additional support packages:

This is designed for Colocation and Managed Colocation clients and is in addition to the support included in the service contract.  It is designed to provide a block of time to solve problems that may arise - installing or removing a server, making minor hardware repairs or helping solve network or system problems of a more complex nature.

Enhanced integration:

This is designed for Managed Services clients who require help to integrate applications with the infrastructure and performance tune the system immediately post system hand-over.

This time must be taken during business hours (09:00 - 17:00).  Time to be booked at the time of contract completion.  The work will be carried out by a Senior systems or Networks team member during business hours.

Enhanced support packages:

This is designed for all clients who require additional complex support of a more in-depth and regular nature to resolve day-to-day system or networks issues as they arise.

The client may pre-book a senior network or system administrator's time.  This time may be called off during the month. 50% of the time may be used out of business hours.  Hours may not be rolled over into the following month.

Projects:

This is designed for all clients who require complex project based support of a more in-depth nature.  This may require advance planning and specialist personnel and a technical evaluation interview.  A project cost will be drawn up and agreed with the client prior to commencement.
