IP Transit

The Bunker has invested heavily in ensuring our Network services meet the ever increasing demands of our customers. We are our own Internet Service Provider (ISP), and provide customers with highly available Internet connectivity. The Bunker facilitates both IPv4 and IPv6 transit.

Is it right for me?

Access to the Internet is essential for any modern day business to function effectively. This service provides a highly resilient conduit to the Internet from our data centre locations.

With us as your ISP we work collaboratively with our systems teams to simplify troubleshooting and ensuring a consistent and joined up service to our customers

Internet access through The Bunker’s resilient core network. Managed, monitored and maintained by our in house specialists.

Why choose The Bunker?

The Bunker’s core network is defined as being carrier neutral. The Bunker’s cross site links and connections to the Internet are provided by a diverse set of suppliers and connectivity hubs, eliminating a dependency on any single provider or location.

How IP Transit at The Bunker works

The Bunker’s MPLS network forwards IP transit from our Points of Presence (POPs) in London, down to our data centres in Ash and Newbury.

In London, we connect to diverse Tier 1 providers and have connectivity to the LINX and LONAP Internet Exchange Points.

In the data centres we provide the transit service across our combined-services edge network using numerous delivery options to match your configuration.
Our combined-services edge network allows multiple Bunker services to be delivered to your environment over a single set of cables.
